The Bishop’s Kitchen sits at the heart of Auckland Palace, offering a warm welcome and a delicious range of tempting treats. Our team serve a selection of soups, sandwiches, artisan pies and cakes, and you’ll be able to choose to eat in the beautifully refurbished medieval kitchen, or in our courtyard garden. Our food focuses on produce grown within the Castle grounds or sourced locally from our network of suppliers, all prepared with care and attention by our in-house Catering Team.
Bishop’s Kitchen New Menu For 2025
In 2025, we’re introducing a refreshed menu featuring exciting new additions. Our Breakfast & Brunch offerings will now include a wider selection, available all day, while Afternoon Tea will no longer require pre-booking, guests can now order on the day for added flexibility and convenience.
Under the guidance of award-winning Pastry Chef and Head Baker Ross Baxter, Bostock Bakery combines expertise with a passion for flavour and craftsmanship. The bakery also stocks a range of Scottish and UK products from independent, sustainable brands, including honey, vegan chocolate, coffee, and more. Each location offers a unique experience, with North Berwick featuring a cosy bakery setting and East Linton providing an open-plan kitchen and outdoor seating where dogs are welcome.
